Care International
Care International operates in 70 countries, and almost 50 million people use its assistance each year. The organization’s primary task is to fight hunger in the poorest countries, by carrying our programs adapted to the needs of the local population. CARE also provides food and shelter to victims of natural disasters, armed conflict and war. It provides basic medical care to people living in developing countries, HIV and AIDS education, and programs by which local communities can free themselves from dependence on regular humanitarian assistance. CARE arranges long-term aid for people living in areas affected by natural disasters, and for victims of armed conflict and war. The organization’s website features descriptions of programs it implements, activity reports, a press section, lesson plans and reports and articles on defense of human rights around the world.
