Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities (NICEM)
The Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities (NICEM) opposes every kind of discrimination against cultural and ethnic minorities. It organizes training for leaders of minority groups, and also conferences. The purpose of its work is to raise awareness of cultural, ethnic and racial diversity, and to increase acceptance of it. NICEM cooperates with other organizations of a similar profile such as the Refugee Council UK in order to assist refugees with their asylum applications. It attempts to influence the decisions of the government and ministries responsible for ethnic minority policy, and lobbies on behalf of minorities.

The website has annual program reports, and updated information on conferences and events. There are downloadable forms to apply to attend particular workshops and conferences. Opinions and comments can also be posted.
