European Playwork Association (e.p.a.)
The European Playwork Association has a network in about 30 countries in Europe and South America, connecting people who are involved in play activities, youth community centers and street work organizations. The focus is on campaigns to promote human rights, specifically the rights of children and young people. Its initiatives for intercultural learning and understanding are intended to encourage the development of a multicultural identity and society, and towards an open Europe.

The association works with children, adolescents and women from poor urban districts. Young people are encouraged to face the challenges of today’s society and to initiate their own projects and solutions.

Supported by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, the European Playwork Association provides international youth exchanges, study visits, training activities, and a global contact network that invites different members of society to form worldwide friendships.
