The Immigrant Council of Ireland is a nongovernmental organization which aims to respond to the emerging needs of immigrants in Ireland. The Council provides services to all types of migrants (migrant workers, undocumented workers, non-economically active migrants) as well as international students and business persons. The Council also aims to help parents and siblings of Irish-citizen children as well as family members of immigrants and Irish nationals. The Council believes that cultural and ethnic diversity should be respected and supported, and aims to help immigrants and immigrant communities in Ireland to improve their quality of life by providing them with accurate, objective, accessible and practical information. The website contains publications, statistics and fact sheets on immigration.
