Minorities of Europe
Established in 1995 as a result of the Council of Europe’s campaign entitled "All different – All Equal," combating racism, antisemitism, xenophobia and intolerance across Europe, MoE concentrates on rising levels of racism and xenophobia, and the sense of isolation many minorities feel. Through inter-minority and majority cooperation, the network hopes to confront discrimination, inequality, and the associated sense of insecurity. Its projects address objectives such as positive intercultural relations, overcoming mutual prejudice, participation and integration. MoE provides a framework for cooperation and open exchange between different groups, particularly those facing exclusion and alienation from the process of European integration.
