Centrum Pomocy Prawnej im. Haliny NieŠ
The Halina Niec Human Rights Association was created in 2002 from the Human Rights Center at the Jagiellonian University. In 1997, the first Polish Human Rights Clinic was established at the Center to provide free legal services to people seeking asylum in Poland, refugees, immigrants, and victims of human rights violations. The Association runs educational projects in secondary schools, fights against human trafficking – the modern form of slavery – and acts on behalf of the Romani community in Poland. It cooperates with many organizations in Central and Western Europe.
