Equality and Human Rights Commission is a nongovernmental organization created in 1976 for the purpose of combatting discrimination and promoting racial equality. It is active throughout Great Britain. Commission is active in the private as well as public sectors. Its main goal is to eliminate racial discrimination, promote equal opportunity, and encourage good-neighbor relations among people of different skin color or ethnic background. The organization offers legal advice, publishes pamphlets and the quarterly Connections, monitors the implementation of antidiscrimination law, and documents violations.

The website has many links including (e.g., an index of ethnic minority media in great Britain), reports, legal documents (e.g., the Race Relations Act with amendments), and a catalog of publications, some available online, such as the quarterly Connections.
